our Approach

At Avalon Coaching we offer individually tailored, confidential one-to-one coaching in three ways: a 10 session experience to dig deep on where you’re at, where you’d like to be and what’s holding you back from getting there, and a shorter 4 session programme for those who have something specific they want to work on with the support of a coach to help them navigate making changes. We also offer one off accountability sessions which are popular with people to maintain their progress after completing their main coaching programme.

Ten 1:1 sessions to really take stock and plan how to move forward. This is for you if:

  • You question your life choices, where you’re headed or how to get there

  • You want to take your personal life or career to the next level but aren’t sure how

  • You feel overwhelmed, procrastinate, need to the approval of others or struggle with your self-worth

Target

Four 1:1 sessions to guide you through a specific change. For example:

  • Career change

  • Improve self-esteem

  • Divorce

  • Increase self-confidence

  • Cope with transitions or new starts

Accountability

A 1:1 accountability coaching session is for you if:

  • You’re already working on your goals on your own but need help staying accountable and on track.

  • You’ve completed either the explore or target programmes and want to add in occasional ad-hoc sessions to maintain your progress.

Counselling sessions provide a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space for people to discuss their problems and any difficult emotions they are dealing with. Unlike coaching, which focuses on your present and your future, counselling aims to heal past trauma and emotional pain. Counselling is a talking therapy and sessions are tailored to the needs of individual.

Counselling can help with:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Upsetting life events, such as bereavement or losing your job

  • Difficult emotions, like guilt, jealousy and low self-esteem
